ELL Program
ELL Identification Process
All new families must complete a Home Language Survey.  ELL screening will be conducted for students if the Home Language Survey indicates a language other than English spoken in the home. ELL services are provided for eligible students as determined by the ELL screening. The W-APT and the MODEL are the assessments used in Illinois to determine a student’s English language proficiency and eligibility for ELL services.
