Northbrook Enacts Bicycle Helmet Law

The village of Northbrook enacted an ordinance on Oct. 9 requiring all children under the age of 16 to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle in public areas of the village. Violators are subject to a $50 fine or community service. View the flyer for more information

Free Hockey Lesson

The Northbrook Bluehawks Hockey Team will offer a free hockey lesson for boys and girls ages 3 to 9 years old from 2:40 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 at the Northbrook Sports Center, 1730 Pfingsten Road. All participants must pre-register by visiting the Northbrook Park District website, NBPARKS.org. Registration Code is 8823.

"Curious George and the Golden Meatball"

Join this inquisitive, lovable monkey on his adventure that is sure to leave you singing and swinging down the aisles! Junior High Halloween Party

Northbrook Park District is hosting a junior high Halloween Party on from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Leisure Center. Dress up in your Halloween costume and dance the night away with a DJ and pizza. Prizes too! Download the flyer for more information.

Glenbrook North Feeder Basketball Tryouts


6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade boys and girls are invited to participate in clinics and tryout for the GBN feeder basketball teams. Boys' clinics begin Oct. 23 and girls clinics begin Nov. 1. Download the flyer for details.

Little Legends Soccer Academy Fall and Winter Leagues

Northbrook Action Baseball   

Northbrook Action Baseball

Baseball leagues for boys and girls ages preschool through 2nd grade and through 3rd grade for girls are now forming. There are three signup periods, running September 1 through Jan. 31, for the 10-week program, which starts the end of April. Download the brochure for details.

 NSO Instructment drive The Northbrook Symphony is collecting band and orchestra instruments for underserved music students in Waukegan Public School. You can bring instruments to donate to Northbrook Junior High or any of the locations listed on the flyer. Get free symphony tickets for donating!
